Evalt PROJECT
Art, Volunteering, and Inclusion: A Transformative Alliance
At Contempla Trilhos, we believe that art is a universal language with the power to unite, inspire, and transform. It is with this conviction that we engage in the EVALT project – Empowering Volunteering in Socially Disadvantaged Groups of Adults Learning. This European initiative arises from the desire to empower volunteers and organizations to intervene with quality and sensitivity among adults in situations of social vulnerability.
EVALT focuses on training volunteers through artistic practices—such as theatre, music, cinema, dance, and visual arts—as tools for inclusion and personal development. More than training artists, it is about shaping active, conscious, and creative citizens capable of fostering more just, empathetic, and transformative human relationships.
The project combines local and international experiences, promoting exchange between diverse cultural contexts and creating space for sharing methods and experiences. In doing so, it helps strengthen networks of solidarity and highlights community intervention as a cultural and deeply human act.
