Narratives in Motion: Social Cinema Workshop – turkey 2012

Among the vibrant streets of Istanbul, previously silenced voices found a place on the screen. From February 29 to March 4, 2012, volunteers and participants from various countries discovered cinema as a powerful tool for inclusion and social awareness.

This workshop focused on creating short films with and by adults in situations of exclusion, exploring real stories, lived experiences, and perspectives on the world. The cameras were used not only to film but to connect, listen, and transform.

This video captures the group’s creative energy, the collective filming process, and the behind-the-scenes of cinema made with purpose and empathy.
